CO-PRESIDENT

CO-PRESIDENT: HODA ABDALLA

Hoda is the 2021-2022 Co-President of BPLA. Hoda is a junior in Kirkland House pursuing a degree in Government and African American studies. Outside of BPLA, Hoda is a consultant with Harvard Undergraduate Political Consulting, tutors at the Academic Resource Center, and is involved in the IOP. Since starting at Harvard, Hoda has spent her summers interning with voter rights advocacy groups, conducting voting policy research and helping to advance the mission of activating the political power of historically disenfranchised communities. As Co-President, Hoda is excited to support Black pre-law students on campus and provide programming and advice to a new group of students. After college, Hoda plans to pursue a JD-MPP.

CO-PRESIDENT: NIA WARREN

Nia is the 2021-2022 Co-President of BPLA. Nia is a sophomore in Quincy House and is concentrating in Government and African American Studies. After college, Nia intends to pursue a JD and focus on constitutional law. Outside of BPLA, Nia is the captain of the Harvard Crimson Dance Team, an associate with Harvard College Consulting Group, and is involved with Harvard’s Institute of Politics. Nia is looking forward to furthering her passion for constitutional law and ensuring that BPLA is a community where black Harvard students can foster their interests in law.

DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS: JACOB BLAIR

Jacob is the 2021-2022 Director of Internal Affairs. He is a rising senior in Currier House concentrating in neuroscience and philosophy. Outside of BPLA Jacob also works at the Harvard Shop, serves as Director of Special Projects in the IOP and volunteers with the Small Claims Advisory Service. Jacob is excited for the opportunity to engage with a close-knit community of individuals interested in the law.



 

DIRECTOR OF PARTNERSHIPS: ALEXANDRA DIGGS

Alexandra is the 2021-2022 Director of Partnerships. She is a junior in Mather House concentrating in Government and the Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. Alexandra is also involved in the Harvard Political Review and volunteers with the Small Claims Advisory Service. As Director of Partnerships, Alexandra is looking forward to connecting Black Harvard undergraduates with professionals in law and developing the network and resources in the industry available to members.





 

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS: JESSICA ALEXANDER

Jessica is the 2021-2022 Director of Communications. She is a sophomore in Kirkland House studying Psychology and Government. Outside of BPLA, Jessica competes with the Harvard Mock Trial Association, mentors youth through Operation CORE and Philips Brooks House Association, and works on the Fellows Search Committee and Fellows and Study Groups programs at the Institute of Politics. Jessica is looking forward to creating an inviting, student-centric environment that embraces the Association's passion for law mand keeping BPLA members up to date on BPLA programming through weekly newsletters detailing our events and resources.
